Pristine Headlight Heroes
A conversion-focused website concept for a mobile headlight restoration business, built from a real freelance job posting and published as a live, working demo rather than a static pitch.
What the Client Needed
Pristine Headlight Heroes runs a mobile headlight restoration service across the Bay Area the owner comes to the customer's home or office rather than the other way around. Their outreach was still running through social media and email, and they wanted a real website that could carry three jobs at once: explain the service clearly, show off dramatic before-and-after results, and let a visitor upload a photo of their own foggy headlights to get a fast quote without back-and-forth emails. It also had to be quick to load, easy to update without touching code, and compatible with GoDaddy hosting.
How I Approached It
I built the whole homepage around the brand's own logo colors red on near-black, with clean white space to keep it feeling trustworthy rather than aggressive. The hero section leads with a before/after slider on a real headlight photo, since that's the single most convincing thing the business has going for it, followed by trust markers (mobile service, UV protection, industrial-grade materials, coverage area) right where a first-time visitor would be deciding whether to keep scrolling.
Below that, the page walks through the four-step restoration process, an interactive before/after gallery visitors can drag through themselves, a photo-upload quote form, and a full booking section all built as one continuous, mobile-first flow so a visitor never has to hunt for how to take the next step.
